Step 1: Find and open the Google Maps app
To book a hotel room in Google Maps, you must first access the app. Since it’s a native Android and iOS app, you won’t have to download it before you can use it. Simply browse your smartphone/tablet menu to find it.
As you know, on some smartphones, applications are arranged in a given order (from the letter A to the letter Z). If this is the case for your phone, then you will find it in the list of applications classified in the letter ” M “. You will recognize it by its location icon.

Step 2: Find your hotel with Google Maps
Once in Google Maps, here is what you need to do:

You don’t have the name of any hotel in mind? No problem. You can still book a hotel room in Google Maps. To get there, simply type “hotel” in the search bar and validate. A range of addresses should now be offered to you by Google Maps.
For a more efficient search, it is preferable to add the name of the region or the city in which you plan to stay in order to reserve your hotel room there. Doing so will also save you time.
There is another way to book your hotel room via Google Maps. To use it, you need to head to the drop-down list of topics that is below the search bar. This includes the headings” Restaurant », « supermarkets », « attractions to name a few. Scroll down to the ” Hotels and click on it.
The app should now show you a list of hotel establishments that are near where you are. Can’t find the boxHotels »? In this case, scroll down to the “More», select it then click on category «Services“and finally”Hotels“.
Step 3: Review search results and place reservation
Having trouble finding the right hotel for you? All you need to do to make this happen is go over some key things before making your reservation. Here’s how you should do it.
- After launching your search in the appropriate section, go to the heading “top rated“. Here you will find all the hotels that have received an excellent rating from customers.
- Click on each hotel to see photos and read reviews left by guests, etc. This will help you to appreciate the quality of the service on site and to know if the selected establishment will be able to meet your expectations.
You can filter your searches to find only the hotels available on the dates you want in “Other filters“.
In this section, you will have to choose the arrival and departure days in the drop-down menus at the top of the screen. That’s done, press the box”apply“. It’s at the bottom of your screen.
Once these parameters are set, you will see a myriad of amounts displayed on the map. These represent the price charged by each establishment according to the dates you have selected. For more details, click on the amount that interests you and the hotel with this price will automatically appear at the bottom of your screen.
Step 4: Book your hotel room in Google Maps
You have finally managed to find the hotel where you want to book a room. Click on it. The name of the establishment and a series of boxes, namely “Itinerary”, “Availability”, “Call”, etc. should appear.
