6. Flush the DNS Cache

  1. You open the Windows search bar.
  2. To research Command Prompt.
  3. Select option “Execute as administrator”.
  4. Now to find DNS use the following commands and press Enter after each command.
    • Type the command ipconfig/release
    • Now type the command ipconfig/flushdns
    • Follow the same using the command ipconfig/renew“.
  5. now type exit then press Enter to exit the command prompt.

Restart your PC to see if Ethernet is working.

7. Check IP configuration and DHCP service status

If Ethernet does not have a valid IP configuration, DHCP makes it easier to manage IP settings by automatically providing the IP address and other relevant configuration information, including subnet mask and default gateways.

  1. You open the windows search bar.
  2. Find and click on the application “Settings”.
  3. Now select the option “Network and Internet”.
  4. Click on the bar “state”.
  5. Select option “Goods”.
  6. Now scroll down and click on the button Edit under IP settings.
  7. Now manually configure the settings IPv4.
  8. Select option Handbook and Enable the IPv4 option.
  9. Now specify the following:
    • IP address
    • Subnet prefix length

    • Alternate DNS

8.Virus Scan
